What they say

I just wanted to say a tremendous thank you for the really kind support over the last week or so - it meant a great deal.

And I've already started spreading the word about Fill to some of my agency friends looking around for positions.

I've seen a few recruiters and I thought you folks were really terrific. Huge thanks again.

Writing your CV

During your consultation with Fill we can give you honest and impartial advice about your CV, from content to layout. Meanwhile . . .

  • Keep it simple and focused, no longer than 2-3 pages
  • Open with a personal profile. Summing yourself up in a couple of well-chosen sentences can make you stand out from the crowd
  • List your most recent experience first, including your employer’s name, your job title and responsibilities, your clients and most importantly your achievements within each role
  • Include your academic background - degree, A levels and GCSEs
  • List any relevant professional qualifications you may have such as the IDM Diploma
  • There’s no need to mention your date of birth, marital status or any children
  • Adding your personal interests will give an insight into what makes you tick
  • And finally, check your spelling and grammar. If there are any howlers the only dynamic career move you’ll be making is towards the recycling bin, folded into a paper aeroplane
