Junior Planner - Central London Agency - Retail BTL- c.£35k

Calling all Planners! Award-winning, London shop seeks a talented and experienced Junior Planner to work with some of the most recognisable global FMCG brands.

As the Junior Planner you will report into the Planning Director, and as the Junior Planner you'll be required to work across a range of FMCG accounts, as well as pitch activity.

It'll be full on and an extremely varied role and you'll need to thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy the challenge of working in a mid-sized planning team, where you, the Junior Planner, will have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the agency's future success.

The successful candidate for Junior Planner must have agency experience, 3+ years in planning, FMCG experience and the Junior Planner candidate should have a solid background in promotional and retail marketing, an understanding of digital, be numerate, articulate and the Junior Planner must be a strong and persuasive presenter. 

As a Planner, you'll also be naturally curious, love problem solving and be a creative thinker.

As a Planner, you will also be expected to understand what drives consumers at the point of purchase and beyond and use this knowledge to guide the planning process both internally and with clients. 

To do this, the Planner role will involve:

- Analyzing research data to develop communication strategies

- Monitoring both client and cultural/social trends, and their impact on consumers' attitudes, behaviour and perceptions, using a variety of market and research data

- Developing compelling propositions on a specific product or service

- Development and delivery of excellent creative briefs

- Planning and running of inspirational brainstorms

You possess good interpersonal and presentation skills - both written and verbal, with the ability to work as a member of a team.

As the Planner, you will have worked in London agencies or the equivalent, with FMCG and promotional marketing as a core offering.
