Exceptional agency based in the heart of Soho are looking for a Business Development Director to join their team and help the business grow further..
Currently there are around 120 working across the group, and they work with some of the best brands in the world.
They are now looking for a Business Development Director that isn't just a cold caller as they don't believe that this works.
As Business Development Director your main objective will be to work with divisional heads and planners across SP, Integrated, Experiential, Digital and PR to proactively acquire new brands for the business.
The agency don't want a "sales" person who bashes the phones, but instead they need someone who is creative and understands how agencies work, and the processes.
As New Business Director you will help find new clients by proactively creating, converting, securing new client relationships with the agency through network, prospecting, PR and targeted marketing campaigns.
You will be a New Business Director who will be leveraging and driving opportunities through external Agencies to raise the agency's profile (PR, AAR, Haystack, Creative Brief etc).
You will also create and help with the development of a dedicated Business Development team and you will reactively be taking relevant briefs and driving them through the Agency.
Working closely with the agency's Brand Team to raise brand profile and increase the agency's referral rates, you will be building and managing new client win teams and ensuring retention of new clients and their development.
Another key part of the role would be reviewing the agency's pitch process and ensuring that all teams are adhering to best practices. They want a Business Development Director who can lead from the front, and you will be building and managing pitch teams where appropriate.
Working closely with creative and the agency heads, you will ensure the agency's Brand collateral (from the Brand Team) enables effective Business Development for the new business team and wider senior staff looking to use tools to support organic growth.
You already have excellent relationships with intermediaries resulting in briefs/pitch consideration and proven new business ability. You will be a Business Development Director who is able to spot opportunities within the market place and action against them.
You will be a Business Development Director who is capable of developing written work of the highest standard - strategic pitch presentations and more consultative documents.
You will also be highly organised and have the ability to navigate around a vibrant and dynamic agency, and you will thrive on responsibility and in supporting the development of business, individuals in the team, and the agency as a whole.
