Group Marketing Director - Excellent Agency - London - to £60k

Superb integrated London agency requires a Group Marketing Director to promote this dynamic and ambitious agency to the marketing world.

You will manage relationships with key external parties, actively seek new business opportunities and work with the senior management team to evolve the positioning and direction of the agency.

The Group Marketing Director will manage the Marketing of four sub agency brands.  

The role is responsible for co-ordination of individual marketing efforts as well as the promotion of the full partnership offering.

As Group Marketing Director you will need to work with the MDs of the separate companies and be able to achieve consensus across a wide team on marketing plans and initiatives.

You will do this within the UK, but also join up their new business and marketing efforts across Europe and the Middle East.

The role is responsible for the reputation of the agency and ensuring perception of the agency is positive and reflective of their ambitions.

The Group Marketing Director's main areas of responsibility include:

  • PR. Maintain strong relations with Campaign, Marketing and Marketing Week as well as trying to build relationships with national press.
  • Profile. Work with senior management to define what the agency should stand for and how to achieve this.
  • New Business. Generate and manage new leads. Ensure key client contact relationships are maintained. Maintain strong relations with intermediaries.
  • Pitches. Pulling together pitch teams based on the demands of the client. Working with the team to ensure they have all resources they need and understand the deliverables. Occasionally this role will require the Marketing Director to work as the Account Director on the pitch.
  • Marketing Plan. Develop international marketing plans across different brands and offices, pull upon different expertise in the Partnership and execute this.

You will be responsible to Group and Managing Directors and the Chairman and responsible for a Marketing Manager, managing and developing this role too.
