Excellent, 60+ person award-winning, strategic comms agency requires an Account Director to work across two very different pieces of business.

The agency are set up to help clients navigate the often complex journey from brand awareness to making a sale.  They call it thought to bought and they are on a mission to redefine the way agencies and clients work together.  

The agency provide a full range of marketing services for their clients, including shopper marketing, consumer promotions, digital services, experiential and trade marketing.

They are now looking to recruit an Account Director to work across two accounts.  This is a pivotal role within the agency - they have been the retained BTL agency for 11 years on one account and for 8 years on the other. 

The business develops insight led communication campaigns starting from proposition development and campaign visual identity to end deliverables such as display, POS and sales materials plus digital assets for Regions and European local markets.  

The work is high profile and international, so there will be some travel (at least once a month with overnights stays likely in Paris). 

The account is a real opportunity for a strong candidate to maintain and develop the accounts working across the full marketing mix.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

  • - A breadth of marketing experience, preferably with exposure to a number of disciplines, but with a solid instore / BTL heritage.
  • - Senior level account handling servicing FMCG clients who demand insight driven solutions
  • - Worked within a multi-agency team, confident to present and provide input / opinion at meetings
  • - Strong financial management
  • - Previously run a profitable and significant piece of business (over 300K revenue)
  • - Preferably Pan-European experience and a foreign language would also be very handy though not essential
