Group Account Director - W1 Agency - to £75k

Excellent W1 integrated / direct marketing led agency seeks a talented Group Account Director to direct a progressive car account.

The client is looking to maximize car sales from their customer base and through cold acquisition. Additionally, deliver leads to the regional sales  and maximize after sales revenue.

The role of the Group Account Director is to lead the agency teams across Retail, Fleet, and Aftersales to deliver strategic programmes to achieve the above working closely with the CSD and Senior Planner.

The client's ambition by 2011 is to move their below the line marketing spend from primarily paper based to primarily digital.

Therefore you must have in-depth experience at running strategic digital marketing programmes, (i.e. web, mobile and social media).

You will also possess solid, old-fashioned DM discipline knowledge including an understanding of data, being able to analyse ongoing campaigns and put in place new initiatives or testing so as to consistently improve the programme.

You possess great client relationship skills, are happy to create a 'red phone' situation with the client, and have gravitas and natural confidence.

Automotive sector experience would be a bonus but isn't mandatory but you at must have worked on a large scale client perhaps an insurance company or retail chain where CRM is at the heart of repurchase.

You possess at least 7 years' marketing communications experience and have the capability to manage a minimum of £1m of income.

With proven team management experience, you have the ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively. 

You also have the ability to select, motivate and develop staff and have a proficiency in MS Office Suite, Email and Internet.

Reporting to a Client Services Director, you will have Account Director and Senior Account Manager reports.
