Senior Account Manager - Charity Agency - Central London - to £35k

Excellent integrated / direct marketing-led agency seeks a talented Senior Account Manager to work on a very well known, exciting charity client account.

This is a brand new role within the agency and has been created to extend the team due to increased workload across the account.  The role will be concentrated on the donor development and legacy parts of the business. 

The successful candidate will join the current team consisting of Group Account Director, Account Director, Senior Account Manager [this role], Account Manager and Account Executive - and will report to the AD. 

You will have responsibility for managing 100% of the AM's workload and 30% of the AE.

The account is the agency's largest largest client and has been with the agency since 2003 -it's a great piece of business to work on.

The agency provides full strategic and creative support for acquisition, donor development and legacy teams.  It's predominantly offline media but they are making strides into online testing.

Responsibilities

  • - Responsible for the day-to-day running of the account, managing campaigns and being the first point of contact for clients - ensuring friendly, professional and responsive service
  • - Work closely with clients to understand long-term objectives, and to help them achieve them
  • - Ensure campaign management is to the highest standard of project management
  • - Actively take a role in monthly client meetings and quarterly strategic meetings and support GAD, AD and planner in preparing and delivering these meetings
  • - Manage and inspire the continuous development of the AM and AE


Experience and skills

  • - 3-4 years agency experience
  • - Applicants without charity sector knowledge should have solid experience of working within the FS or telco sectors and good CRM knowledge
  • - Thorough knowledge of direct marketing in all offline channels. Online experience a definite plus
  • - Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • - Keen attention to detail
  • - Evidence of some prior team management
  • - Strong analytical skills and confident presentation skills a must
  • - Thrive under pressure and ability to multi-task
  • - Outgoing, confident, convincing and amiable
  • - Enjoy client entertainment
