Account Manager [Car Account] - London Agency - to £30k

Below-the-line arm of an international agency, seeks a talented Account Manager to work on a prestigious car account.

The client is the agency's largest client for whom they have been working for 10 years. During that time, they have created a strong relationship with the marketing teams and now provide them with a raft of through-the-line marketing services.

The successful Account Manager will become an integral part of the team, providing project support to the Account Director and (as the team grows) potential line-management to an Account Executive.

The type of work will be varied and will stem from car/van launch, brand awareness, sales driving and customer retention activity.

Campaigns will include the development of:                                                                                                             

  • Dealership POS
  • Launch events / PR stunts
  • Test drive / sales driving proposals
  • Local dealership awareness activities
  • CRM initiatives
  • Third party partnerships
  • Direct mail - postal and digital
  • Online initiatives

You will undertake the usual account management responsibilities to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the account.

Requirements:

  • Solid agency background with at least 3 years experience of managing below-the-line marketing projects.
  • Automotive experience preferred but a natural curiosity and willingness to learn about the automotive market essential.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - client-facing, within the agency and with suppliers and partner agencies.
  • Print production knowledge enabling you to clearly brief the in-house production team and, in some cases, liaise with printers direct.
  • Experience of working with and managing traffic, creative and studio departments to ensure work is produced to brief and on time.
  • Exceptional organisational skills - be able to effectively juggle several projects as well as agency and team administration tasks.
  • Appreciation of the creative process and ability to inspire and motivate our creative teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
