[Digital] Group Account Director - London - £65k+

Growing, independent strategic customer marketing agency seeks a talented [Digital] Group Account Director to work across a range of client accounts.

The agency specializes in optimising the value of their clients' customer base by generating the insight to identify the most important customers and understand their needs.

They then harness this insight to create a loyalty proposition and associated communications that binds them into a long-term relationship.

You will be joining a team that is highly ambitious, with in-depth specialist skills and experience in data insight, proposition development and in the design and delivery of mixed media communications.

The Role

The prime purpose of the role is to manage a client account team and to lead the successful delivery of client projects across the Customer Optimisation team.

As Group Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the client interface for the team's clients, and for working with each of the delivery teams to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

At least 5 years customer marketing and digital communications experience, in an agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and project delivery - responsible for managing and delivering the existing client work
  • Strategic delivery - responsible for the strategic delivery of client plans
  • Business development - lead the identification and development of new business from the existing accounts, and contribute to the development of new business opportunities from new clients
  • Team development - ensure the continued development of the team

Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will have the following profile of skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years agency experience of managing and delivering customer communications and digital marketing.
  • Digital marketing experience should include the development of campaign micro-sites, data driven email communications, website development and build, and experiential campaigns.
  • Website analytics and trends analysis
  • Mobile marketing campaign experience

  • Degree level qualification of 2:1 or above, ideally in business or marketing
  • Marketing degree, or equivalent CIM or other qualification
