Head of Retail / Group Account Director - Shopper Marketing Consultancy - London - £neg Dynamic, passionate retail / shopper marketing consultancy seek a talented Head of Retail / Group Account Director to lead client projects and manage a growing team. To qualify for this unique opportunity you must have experience in and a passion for all things retail. You have an agency background (be it ATL, BTL, research/similar), ideally some planning experience or a history of being heavily involved in strategy for your clients and recent retail account / shopper marketing knowledge. The consultancy are a shopper marketing insight business who witness, evaluate and measure the retail experience to gain insight into how to improve the experience for customers and help brands perform better in retail. You will be joining a tight, close knit team whose Directors wish to move the business onto the next level. You will work alongside them to initially assist, then lead the strategy for their retained client base whilst overseeing a small team to ensure all current projects are delivered on time and to budget. As a natural entrepreneur you are comfortable working with both senior level clients and juniors and have ambitions that aren't limited to potentially becoming the next Managing Director of the consultancy as early as within a two year period. The opportunity to sit in on board meetings is there from the off. You are motivated to help grow the consultancy's client list in addition to a team beneath you. As well as providing strategic guidance you equally know when it is time to roll your sleeves up to help get the job done. You ideally have knowledge of channel planning and a good research understanding [both qualitative and quantitative] with the ability to 'make sense' of data. You also possess commercial astuteness and want to help improve the consultancy's current processes and ways of working.
