Senior Account Planner - Excellent West London Agency - to £60k

First-rate Agency who has had a string of new business wins seeks a talented Senior Account Planner to work across a range of agency accounts.

Reporting to the Head of Planning you will undertake the day-to-day account planning on an airline (advertising/integrated), FMCG brand (retention marketing) and food product (retention marketing)

You will be required to:

•·         Undertake planning tasks on new business as required

•·         Contribute ad hoc across a range of blue-chip clients

•·         Bring expertise in:

•·         Relationship Marketing and Advertising (within an integrated agency)

•·         Digital communications

The current team consists of 4 permanent Account Planners and a Planning Director.

At the heart of the role is delivering innovative creative and communications planning solutions, as part of the agency's smart and dynamic planning function. The Agency's Planners are respected contributors within the agency and with clients, who inspire their colleagues and bring clarity and simplicity to their thinking.

Responsibilities include:

•·         Identify and unlock strategic, creative and brand opportunities

•·         Communication strategy development

•·         Designing and managing research projects

•·         Creative brief and creative development

•·         Working alongside other roster agencies

•·         Owning the measurement and evaluation of campaigns

•·         Pitch planning - including developing pitch strategy and presenting

You possess six years + experience as an Account Planner, ideally with an integrated agency background, with retention marketing, advertising and digital experience.

You have excellent creative planning skills and the ability to identify suitable insights from desk research or commissioned quantitative and qualitative research.

Drafting and contributing to inspirational creative briefs and working effectively with the creative team, your communications planning experience covers developing segmentations and targeting strategies, analysis of campaign and behavioural data.

You also have the ability to get under the skin of consumer data sets (e.g, Nielsen/GfK); whilst being able to drive the agency's approach to measurement and evaluation.
