Our People

Jonathan Wilks

Our Managing Partner and Head Consultant is Jonathan Wilks.

Prior to establishing Fill Recruitment in January 2003, Jonathan spent 12 years working for a range of below-the-line London agencies.

He began his career as Account Executive, rising to Account Manager and then Account Director at agencies that included Holmes & Marchant, CBH & Partners and Momentum. His last five 'agency years' were spent at Direct Marketing Agency HHM (now Crayon) where he held the position Group Account Director and Board Director.

 

Stewart Ayliffe

Stewart is the Managing Director of Fill Recruitment.

Stewart has been part of the advertising industry for more than 20 years including an eight-year spell with IMP (now Arc).

His predominant experience is below-the-line, but he has also worked above-the-line for a number of London's premier advertising agencies.

For the last seven years he has worked as an independent business consultant across a number of industries including design, branding and recruitment.

He and Jonathan established Fill Recruitment in February 2003.

 

Russell Segal

Before joining Fill Recruitment, Russell was key in establishing and developing various businesses in a wide range of industries including automotive products, electronics, communications, CCTV, hair care, cosmetics, healthcare, manufacturing, production and computer consumables.

His career spans some 25 years and he has developed his management skills to include sales and marketing, financial and general management and ITC. He attributes his successful career to being a good people person, being perceptive, and having the ability to recognise new opportunities.

Russell has been brought into Fill Recruitment to help take the business to the next level, develop the Fill brand and fully utilise the substantial investment already made by Fill in new technologies, whilst maintaining our work ethics and integrity.

Russell will be at the helm of Fill's continued strategic planning to ensure its Clients and Candidates receive the service they both require and deserve.

 

Rick Kumar

Rick is a Board Director responsible for client servicing and new business development at Fill Recruitment.

Rick was previously an Account Director at an ATL agency. He has experience developing brand strategies and creating full service marketing campaigns, including global TV, press, outdoor and radio, for brands such as SEGA, Samsung and Konami. He also has experience working on both below-the-line and above-the-line campaigns.

He graduated from university with a 2:1 marketing degree and over the last 10 years he has worked at a number of full service agencies, including The Pulse Group, Mercier Gray, Joshua and Frontroom

 

Jenifer Hammond

Jenifer joined Fill Recruitment in March 2005.

Jenifer previously spent eight years working at integrated agency, HTW, working her way up from Account Executive to Senior Account Manager level before leaving to pursue a career in recruitment.

Jenifer graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 1996 with a First-Class Honours degree in Business and Marketing.

Adam Price

Adam joined us in April 2008 after spending seven years in Advertising, Branding and Integrated agencies working on brands such as Guinness, BBC, Shell and Waitrose. His experience is through the line, working permanently and freelance at JWT, Intelligent Marketing, Firedog, Armadillo, and Bell.

He graduated in 2000 from Cardiff University with a 2:1 Honours degree in Business.

Marina Pettengell

Marina joined Fill Recruitment in July 2008 to help launch our new client side recruitment arm. Before joining us, Marina spent six and a half years working client-side at RBS Insurance, where she worked on brands that included Direct Line and Green Flag. In her time with RBS Insurance, Marina was Marketing Manager for Green Flag, responsible for repositioning the brand to capitalise on its challenger brand status and launching Green Flag's ‘Waiting. Boring' campaign. She most recently worked as Channel Marketing Manager, responsible for maximising the business RBS Insurance received through brands such as Privilege and Churchill via price comparison websites such as Confused & Go Compare.

Marina graduated from The University of Surrey in 2001 with a First-Class Honours degree in Retail Management and holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Postgraduate Diploma.

Suzanne Kaufman

Suzanne is our Resources Manager and joined Fill Recruitment in February 2005. Suz helps match the right candidate to the right job. She is in regular contact with our candidates to ensure our database is bang up-to-date and to offer them all the support we can. Suz originally put all of our administration systems in place so is perfectly placed to add support wherever it's needed.

Paul Cornforth

Paul is our IT Assistant and joined us in July 2006. He has become a real asset to Fill. Paul is responsible for all IT Issues within the company and making sure that everything runs smoothly. If there are IT or communication problems, Paul is our ‘Mr Fixit' and is always on hand to help out.  Paul also manages our advertising and website to ensure it's helping us attract London's best talent at all times.

Abbie Segal

Abbie is our Office/HR Assistant. She joined Fill in October. Abbie is responsible for all of our administration procedures from the second a CV arrives in our in box to the last telephone call of the day. Abbie will likely be the first person you will see when you visit us so in effect, represents the face of Fill!  Abbie is also responsible for our office support and deals with our many suppliers - so, if you have a product or service you feel we may be interested in; Abbie is the best person to call.
