Jonathan Wilks
Jonathan is the owner of Fill Recruitment.
Prior to establishing Fill Recruitment in January 2003, Jonathan spent 12 years working for a range of below-the-line London agencies.
He began his career as Account Executive, rising to Account Manager and then Account Director at agencies that included Holmes & Marchant, CBH & Partners and Momentum. His last five 'agency years' were spent at Direct Marketing Agency HHM (now Crayon) where he held the position Group Account Director and Board Director.
Jonathan graduated from university with a 2:1 degree in Marketing. He also holds the IDM's Diploma in Direct Marketing.
Stewart Ayliffe
Stewart is the Financial Director of Fill Recruitment.
Stewart has been part of the advertising industry for more than 22 years including an eight-year spell with IMP (now Arc).
His predominant experience is below-the-line, but he has also worked above-the-line for a number of London's premier advertising agencies.
For the last eight years he has worked as an independent business consultant across a number of industries including design, branding and recruitment.
He and Jonathan established Fill Recruitment in February 2003.
Jemma McGinley
Jemma worked to SAM level in advertising and direct marketing agencies before joining us in May 2010. She spent nine years working on brands such as Sainsbury's, NatWest, Gala Casinos and BT.
With permanent and freelance through-the-line experience, she has worked for Tequila, LIDA, WDMP and Crayon to name but a few. She knows the agency world inside-out and is well-equipped to give advice to clients and candidates alike.
Melissa Gordon
Melissa joined us in June 2010 after spending 15 years in the marketing industry. She has worked both agency and client-side across brands such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Arla Foods, The National Lottery, Danone Baby Foods and Coors Light.
Her experience is through the line, with a strength in retail and full service marketing campaigns, honed at agencies including Hicklin Slade & Partners (now Crayon), Elvis Communications and Carlson Marketing.
Melissa graduated from McGill University in Canada, with an honours degree in Politics and History and completed a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing the following year.
Asha Kanhai
Asha joined Fill in June 2011.
Before she began working with us, Asha spent 10 years in the marketing industry. She began her career as Account Executive rising to Account Manager and then Account Director at integrated agencies including Ignis, KLP and The Marketing Store.
She has permanent and freelance through-the-line-experience with experiential and shopper marketing her key areas of strength.
Asha has worked across all disciplines on brands such as Gala Casinos, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Jacob's Creek, The Glenlivet, Martell, Robinsons, Fruitshoot, 7UP, Mars and Mattessons.
Joanna Hickman
Joanna is Fill's Creative Recruiter.
Jo works on roles at all level, across the entire creative spectrum. She has regular contact with Project Managers (Print, Digital, Integrated), Producers, Traffic/Studio Managers, Creative Services as well as Retouchers, Artworkers, Designers (on and offline), IA/UX Designers, Copywriters, Creative Teams, Art Directors, Creative Directors, Executive Creative Directors, amongst others.
Jo has three years' experience of recruiting top Creative candidates for some of Londons leading agencies. Her Degree in Fine Art and the four years she spent studying various creative disciplines, including Graphic Design mean that she understands the creative processes and can spot talent when she sees it.
After dabbling with the idea of a career in Design and qualifying as a Teacher of Art and Design (plus two character building years teaching in state education!), Jo is now a well established Creative Recruitment Consultant, maintaining client and candidate relationships through her hard work ethic and very high standards of service.
Claire Cavanagh
Claire previously worked for Simply Recruitment undertaking general day to day admin duties and helping their accounts department.
Claire has a good knowledge of the recruitment process and previously worked for Premier Despatch, a courier/chauffeur company. There, she was the ‘meet and greeter' whether it was on the telephone or if they came into the office, the same role she now performs at Fill.
Claire is also a qualified sales consultant in the travel industry, having worked for Lunn Poly for two years previously.
Claire is the first person you will come into contact at Fill - we are sure she will make you feel at home!
